InnoVie Health is designed to provide better tools to physicians and clinics in an effort to improve the quality of patient care being provided. After having spent almost 3 years working in different healthcare facilities, from clinics to hospitals, I noticed that the integration of technology into the healthcare system was quite slow with many physicians being resistant to change. I decided to research more into the field of medical errors to understand the influential role that medical technology could have. While there are significant advances in the area of surgical and diagnostic imaging technologies, very few technologies involved the utilization of A.I in the field of current and predictive patient analytics. One of the major reasons cited as the barrier to technology incorporation was the significant amount of time medical staff and clinicians spent in learning to use the technology. Thus this led to the launch of InnoVie Health, a start-up with the main goal of providing physicians with an evidenced based SaaS diagnostic A.I tool that would integrate with EMR/or other software capable of capturing patient data in an effort to improve the diagnostic accuracy and test/treatment selection, tailored for each patient. Starting off with an idea I found other individuals who also shared the same vision of improving the healthcare sector with technology. As a result, our starting team was formed, each of us with the drive of going beyond the set standards in the healthcare system by providing physicians with better tools to improve patient care. In addition, all of us felt deeply motivated to help people in underdeveloped countries, a place where lack of sufficient medical knowledge and training was responsible for the high mortality rates due to infection/disease. This initiative has motivated us to work together to reach our goal of saving lives.
