RAM Global is thrilled to introduce the Terahertz Express Analyzer, or ThEA. ThEA is a diagnostic platform that uses Terahertz spectroscopy to identify pathogens, including COVID-19, by their genetic frequency signatures. This completely digital methodology allows for an accurate positive/negative result, from sample to answer, in 60 seconds or less. Because it requires no chemical reagents or special handling, it avoids the supply chain, cost, and reliability disadvantages of conventional PCR testing without sacrificing sensitivity. Clinical studies show it to be more sensitive than POC-based PCR tests and/or antigen tests, even at high CT levels.
