ViralAlert’s mission is to provide Accessible LAMP-Enabled Rapid Tests to detect SARS-CoV-2, with the end goal of an at-home test. Our international team emphasizes open scientific collaboration and aims to make our tests free from profit-driven motivations making it accessible and producible around the world. Our simple, inexpensive and automatable method packages the well-established RT-LAMP reaction (using public domain enzymes) into room temperature stable and easily shippable cartridges.
