Simon is a General Partner and co-founder at Pelican Ag - the UK’s first venture fund powering regenerative agriculture and food systems. He is an early stage impact investing specialist having worked on over 50 capital raising mandates over the past 14 years and helping to raise over £230m for socially and environmentally progressive companies. Simon advised institutions in developing their own impact investing funds, most notably Sky Ocean Ventures - a pioneering seed fund laser focused on reducing plastic load in the economy. Simon’s passion for soil, ecology and food started in early childhood through his family’s bio-intensive fruit & vegetable garden.
