Samuel Dorison Cofounder and CEO, ReflexAI

Samuel Dorison has spent nearly a decade at the intersection of artificial intelligence and human health, building and deploying technology in some of the most sensitive settings. He is the Cofounder and CEO at ReflexAI, a technology company that brings scalable, AI-powered tools to organizations across healthcare, crisis response, and emergency dispatch. Their partners range from some of the largest health-focused institutions in the world (such as the Department of Veterans Affairs) to regional and local organizations in urban and rural communities. Alongside his cofounder, John Callery, their work has been recognized on TIME’s “100 Best Inventions of the Year” and selected as Fast Company’s “World Changing Idea in Data & AI.”

Dorison believes that innovation should drive improvements in quality, outcomes, accountability, and efficiency. Before ReflexAI, Dorison served as Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer at The Trevor Project, the world's largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people. There, he led the expansion of crisis services — including the launch of 24/7 text-based support — and oversaw the deployment of generative AI tools for counselor training. As the founding executive of The Trevor Project's research team, Dorison co-authored five peer-reviewed papers. He was also a crisis counselor himself for over three years, grounding his leadership in direct frontline experience.

Dorison previously worked at McKinsey & Company in Washington, DC, and at Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. He graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs. He also holds an LLM from Cambridge University and an MSc in Security Studies from University College London, both as a Marshall Scholar.

Beyond his professional work, Dorison is deeply involved in causes that support families impacted by cancer. He serves on the board of Kesem and is a long-time rider of the Pan-Mass Challenge. Dorison lives in New York City with his husband.
