Dr. Lennard Lee
Dr. Lennard Lee Medical Oncologist, Oxford University

Dr. Lennard Lee is an Associate Professor at the University of Oxford and a practising medical oncologist treating prostate cancer. He is passionate about accelerating progress in establishing cancer vaccines and new tools to establish immunity from cancer. He is a recognised global key thought leader in AI and its application to cancer research, and was instrumental in establishing the UK cancer vaccine advance. Dr. Lee has held senior leadership roles delivering national flagship government projects, and held multiple across the NHS and government, including national cancer advisory positions. He works closely with policymakers, clinicians, industry, and charities to translate scientific advances into real-world patient benefit at pace.

He currently leads the UK Cancer Vaccine AI Scientist and Supercomputer project, pioneering sovereign AI Supercomputers and building autonomous AI scientists to advance our understanding of cancer immunity. He has published over 70 patients in leading academic journals, including the lancet and Jama. He has won multiple government award for his research, including from the Government office for Science, and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
