Curious Learning was founded by literacy and technology experts from MIT, Tufts and Georgia State University to ensure that every child can learn to read, regardless of resources or location. Building on advances in big data, learning theory and the proliferation of Android devices, they can turn any device into a literacy mentor. By providing the infrastructure to measure what apps work, help developers create increasingly more effective content, and dramatically improve child learning through better content and personalization, they have developed an evidence-based approach that helps children teach themselves to read — and master the skills they need to pursue full, rewarding lives.
